Sound Source Localisation Using an Acoustic Camera and Visual Representation
Using this special recording technique, sound sources can be located and visually presented to our clients – saved as an acoustic photo or as an acoustic video. Typical areas of application include:
- For industrial and commercial noise: locating relevant noise sources (e.g. leaks in compressed-air lines).
- Weak-point detection in building acoustics (e.g. leaky doors or windows, inadequately connected drylining walls).
- In room acoustics: identifying sound-reflecting surfaces in rooms, industrial halls or workshops.
- Locating relevant sound-radiating surfaces, e.g. in the context of product optimisation.
