Noise at the workplace can impair the health and performance of employees. Employers are therefore obliged to assess the noise exposure of their staff and, if the relevant exposure action and limit values are exceeded, to take suitable protective measures.

Workplace-related noise measurements
Through on-site measurements we determine the actual noise exposure at workplaces and assess the exposure of employees. Individual workstations and activities can be investigated, as can larger production and hall areas.
On the basis of the measurement results, particularly noisy areas and the relevant noise sources can be identified and suitable noise reduction measures derived.
Noise reduction programmes and specific measures
If elevated noise exposure is identified, we develop suitable noise reduction measures on the basis of the measurement and calculation results. In doing so we take into account not only the acoustic effectiveness but also the operational processes and the technical and economic constraints.
Possible measures include, for example, the enclosure or screening of machinery, improved room acoustics, sound-absorbing ceiling and wall surfaces, or organisational measures.
Hall simulation and noise maps
In larger production and industrial halls in particular, sound propagation and the expected indoor hall noise levels can be investigated using three-dimensional simulation models.
The results can be presented as colour noise maps. Areas with high noise exposure thus become immediately visible. At the same time, different noise reduction measures can be simulated and compared in terms of their effectiveness before they are implemented.
In this way we support you from the measurement and assessment of the existing situation, through the development of suitable noise reduction measures, to the measurement-based verification of their success once they have been implemented.
